Can we get personal for a sec?

I want to get a little personal here and allow you to get to know me a little better. 2019 was a BIG crazy year for me. In the last 12 months I have quit my corporate Marketing and HR job, started my coaching practice, asked my husband for a divorce, and the olive on top of this awesome sandwich is that a few months ago I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto’s.

I’m a working professional bossbabe by day and a single mother by night. However, I can say, for the most part, life is pretty good.

But, what about the other part, the part when I’m obsessively worrying about providing for my kids, taking care of the house, loving my boyfriend and showing him enough attention even though we live hundreds of miles apart, or struggling to remain on top of my current life and the demands it brings?

I’m NOT going to LIE to you sometimes I sit in the front row on the STRUGGLE bus.

I do my best to provide positive space for client transformations, bring the level 10 energy to my Facebook lives and stages, write blogs and content that promote living life to the fullest but the honest to goodness truth is…some days I struggle too.

On those days when I struggle to motivate myself, clients, and family, I have to “check” myself and I press the “reset button.”

My reset button consists of a list of strategies that usually help me overcome my situation. Here’s a peek at my list:

Reach out to my tribe…. Chat, text or meet up for coffee always helps.

Write a few words…. or an entire book in my journal.

Get my bestie and brother in the same room…they always make me laugh and laughter is the best medicine.

Go around the corner to First Watch and get myself a green kale tonic. YES! I love this drink.

Ramp up my self-care practices which include reading, mediating, soaking up sunshine etc.

Re-connect with my WHY, anchors, and long-term plan.

What about you?

Have you ever felt like you needed to hit the reset button on your life? What do you do to reset your life? Whether it’s for a moment, really bad day, or even a terrible season.

What I hope that you take-a-way from this blog is that we’re always going to have days or seasons in life where we may not be feeling our best. We may be feeling rundown, burnt out, overwhelmed, and stressed to the max. It’s normal, but we don’t always have to be on the “struggle bus.”

What can you do about it? Well, you can have a set of tools ready to help you hit the reset. Or you can hire an awesome coach like me to help coach, guide, empower, and inspire you to live life with love, health, and positive energy. The beauty in everything is that you always have a choice when it comes to living your life. Hi, my name is Karissa Williams, I am a Health and Wellness Expert, Certified Life, Health, and Mindset Coach, Speaker, Hustler, and Mother of 2. I help busy BossBabes and Male Go-Getters who are on the verge of burnout…. I help them Reset, Readjust and Refocus on what’s most important. Together we build a toolbox full of awesome coaching tools and we create healthy habits that support self-love, better health, and career growth. Some call it Work-life Balance-I call it finding FLOW.

My challenge to you:

I’d like for you to work on your own list of strategies to help you create the reset button. Create a list of at least 5 strategies. Respond to this email or send me a text, letting me know about the tools you plan to use to help you reset.
